One Condition guys.. Pl Don't go for any searching in website.. I start with a simple Q.. In Transformers, we can observe a humming sound.. Which is the reason for this humming sound? (14 years ago)

Hmmm.. Its right about 50% MAMS.. ElectroMagnetic Striction causes the humming sound. Factors causing for this effect are, the core size and shape, Hysterises due to residual magnetism and eddy current.. But the important one in Magnetising current..  (14 years ago)

Coolant absorbs heat from the Transformer winding due to load due to load current.. In no load condition, the coolant will be in normat temperature.. When the load current gets rise up, the windings get more heat.. Due to the windings are surrounded by the coolant, the heat is CONDUCTED to coolant.. The hot coolant goes to upside of the tank and it is circulated thro pipes.. Due to this travelling, the heat is passed to surrounding air due to Heat is CONVICTED to air.. (14 years ago)

Mams, there is a magnet in speaker which is a source of magnetic field. There is a coil IN speaker when a current flows through the coil it bounce up and down. This is because of the fact that a current carrying conductor experience force in magnetic field. But here is a condition that current should be vary with time. (14 years ago)

hi evry1 ! I also hv a question. Bt its frm astrology ! I want to kno how astroid recognis their path although the universe is expanding itself n all othr heavier objects attract that astroid with gr8 forces. Im taking example of HELIX ALFA it comes in our solar system aftr evry 76 years ! Hey there should b time difference no !!!! Im puzzled in this question.... (14 years ago)

It's not short circuit.. Hmmm.. It's earth fault MAMS.. By the by, a single earth wire will be enough to carry the earth fault current.. The earth fault current depends on the applied voltage and the resistance of the path of earth fault current.. If it is so, a large size earth wire will be enough.. But, why do we provide double earthing instead of single earthing.. Do you know the exact ans alien..? (14 years ago)

I don't know more about Audio systems.. However, I share with you that what I know.. The function of a loudspeaker in more or less similar to Faraday's law of Electro Magnetic Induction.. In the loudspeaker there or 2 magnets. One is permanent magnet.. Another one is electromagnet.. The electromagnet is nothing but the 'in field coil' which is placed at the bottom of the diaphram (cone) and placed into the permanent magent.. And we should note the thickness of the coil will be a least one..  (14 years ago)

When the amplified current signal is fed to the field coil, it produces an alternationg magnetic field which depends on the frequency of the signal.. Due to the interaction of electromagnetic field and permanent magnetic field, A force is experienced by the coil(as said by alien).. Since the coil is attached with the diaphram, the force tends to move the field coil.. Due to this effect, the entire diaphram moves into front and back and thus the sound comes out.. There are many branches to know about the sound output, like twitter, woofer etc.. (14 years ago)
